Cupcake Garden with Mom & Child

I spent a wonderful Mother's Day afternoon today with some great moms and their daughters, creating a cupcake garden. We took some yummy chocolate cupcakes and morphed them into an eclectic mix of pumpkin and tomatoes patches, strawberries and carrots too. Oh! And let's not forget he pretty peas in a pod. It was fabulous!

There's nothing better than spending a little quality time with mom, mixed in with some sugarlicious cupcakes of course. Flowers abounded in pretty sparkling sugar and reeeeally yummy icing. We used the grass and leaf tips to add detail and plain chocolate Oreo crumbs to resemble soil dirt. Can 't have a garden without some soil.

So with some hard work, sweat, a little fondant and a little love, a garden worth everyone's envy is born.
