Wow...what a weekend! Yesterday was the 2nd Annunal Cake Competition at Icing Inspirations and it was stellar. Lots of great entries and cakes to see...50+ cakes on display. There were three categories to feast your eyes on: Open Division, Hobbyist and Professional Division.The theme this year was designing a wedding cake for a "fantasy wedding couple", which was for the Hobbyist and Professional Division. In the Open Category, the theme was "A Sea of Inspiration". I loved seeing everyone's interpretation of the theme, as each cake was unique and distinctive.
If you've been following me on Facebook, you'll aleady know that I entered a cake in the Professional Division and is the one pictured above........I won 1st place in the Professional Division and People's Choice award in the same category. I still can't believe it!

though I was only this year start to do courses in cake decorating I fell in love 25 years ago when I saw the first sugar flower.....after this day I started to learned on my own but never take to serious ,was like a hobby,
