Learning the art of cake decorating is a journey unto itself, let alone starting your own cake business. So for those who are not quite ready to own their own store front, renting a commercial kitchen to bake for the masses is a viable business option.

Icing Inspirations in Kitchener, ON has just opened 3 licensed commercial kitchens to the public. What does this mean? It means that cake designers, caterers, and the like can rent a health inspected and fully licensed kitchen for all their kitchen needs. Rent kitchen space when you need it, for as long as you need it.

Each kitchen has the following:

*stainless steel work tables
*stove and oven
*Kitchen Aid mixer
*baker's rack with sheet pans
*micowave
*fridge
*basic supplies

Of the 3 kitchens to choose from, there is a small, medium and large. Pumping out a 700 cookie order, no problem! The "sans walls", open concept allows for easy combination and reconfiguration of the kitchens, should your baking needs require it.

A minimum of 8 hours is required for booking and times are booked in 4 hour slots. But remember, first come first served. Need to book a specific date, make sure to book ahead! Rental rates vary according to which kitchen you are booking and the amount of time needed (i.e. one time use, part time and/or ongoing kitchen usage).
